Cleaning and disinfection in future food processing devices dealt with at the biannual EHEDG World Congress and the FCFP2025 congress

Abstrakt

In the RT-issue published in December 2024 we promised to deal with presentations on sustainability, surface hygiene, cleaning and disinfection presented at the biannual EHEDG congress held in October 2024. However, in late March 2025 Fraunhofer IVV arranged together with Dresden University of Technology a congress on Fouling and Cleaning in Food Processing (FCFP2025). We have therefore updated this article with issues presented at both congresses. Hopefully, you will enjoy reading about food hygiene.
