Given the acceleration of climate change and the role of<br/>cities in mitigating it, there is a growing need for sustainable<br/>housing. The councillors interviewed in the study see a link<br/>between housing and climate change particularly in the areas<br/>of construction, urban densification and energy policy. The<br/>main barriers to integrating policy sectors are the disconnect<br/>between them and the lack of sufficient knowledge and<br/>financial resources.
