Farhad Pakdaman is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Individual Fellowship (MSCA-IF) research fellow at Tampere University, Finland. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 2019. Afterwards, he joined the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Mazandaran, as an Assistant Professor in 2021, where he was a lecturer since 2014. During 2018, he has also been a researcher at the Signal Analysis and Machine Intelligence (SAMI) research group, Tampere University, Finland. His research interests include image/video processing and compression, multimedia systems and networks, energy efficient computing, computer architecture, and machine learning solutions for multimedia. He has been a reviewer for top international journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications, IEEE Access, IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing, Multimedia Tools and Applications, IEEE ISCAS, and IEEE ICME.
