Environmental economist with a specialization in forest economics. My expertise is particularly focused on the water quality impacts of forestry and assessing these effects from society´s viewpoint. In my research, I study the social cost and benefits of economic activities. My research themes also include economic modeling of forest industry, private forest owners' opinions on water protection in peatland forestry, carbon farming in agriculture and catchment level water protection.
