Fertility, pregnancy and next generation health in men and women born preterm
Bidragets beskrivning
Challenges in reproduction and fertility among preterm individuals and especially factors contributing these challenges are poorly known. This study aims to investigate fertility, reproduction and the offspring's health in men and women born preterm. We will also assess how potential challenges in reproduction are mediated and modified by different physical, mental and social factors. This study will use medical birth register data from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark linked with other register information on health and sociodemographic factors. We will also use Finnish birth cohort data. This study will provide new information on reproduction of individuals born preterm and how various physical, mental and social factors contribute to it.
