National Forest Inventory (NFI, VMI) rare tree species data is formed from VMI9, VMI10 and VMI11 measurement data. In accordance with the classification of tree species used in the VMI, the data show the number of trees in the experimental area by tree species. An identifier according to the taxon (URI identifier) of the species list maintained by the Finnish Biodiversity Information Facility is attached to the tree species. The geographical area of the formed data is the whole of Finland.
