Supplementary data for the publication Stable Water Isotope Signal of Snow Meltwater

Beskrivning

The datasets in this folder include snowfall, snowpack, and snowmelt water δ¹⁸O and δ²H isotope measurements from 2023 and 2024 for the study sites 'Pallas' and 'Julinia' in Finland, as well as snow depth data for 'Julinia'. These datasets were used in the research article published in the journal Hydrological Processes, titled "Stable Water Isotope Signal of Snow Meltwater: Testing Three Different Measurement Setups in Boreal-Subarctic Conditions." The folder contains eight files: five Excel files in the IAEA’s WISER format with isotope data, two files containing all isotope and weight data for snowfall, snowpack, and snowmelt at the two study sites (P_SP_SM_Pallas_2023–2024 and P_SP_SM_Julinia_2023–2024), and one file with snow depth data for the study site 'Julinia'. All isotope data for δ¹⁸O and δ²H are shown in Per-mille [‰]. All samples used for isotope analyses were stored in refrigerated conditions and only for a short time (max 3 months) before measuring. The sample vials were completely filled (when possible) to limit any head space. Information on the variables for 'Julinia'; Snowfall, Snowpack, and Snowmelt can be found in the respective WISER Excel files. Information on the variables for 'Pallas'; Snowfall, Snowpack, and Snowmelt can be found in the respective WISER Excel files here: (Full description in paper).
