Monthly Mean Temperature, 10km, 1961-2023, GeoTIFF

Beskrivning

This dataset is part of FMI ClimGrid, which is a gridded daily climatology dataset of Finland. It includes eight key variables about climate: * Daily Mean Temperature (Tday) * Daily Maximum Temperature (Tmax) * Daily Minimum Temperature (Tmin) * Daily Precipitation Sum (RRday) Value for 23.03.1977 = accumulation 23.03.1977 06:01UTC - 24.03.1977 06:00 UTC * Average Daily Relative Humidity (Hum) Due the calculation method there can be values over 100% . * Average Daily Sea Level Pressure (Press) * Daily Snow Depth at 06 UTC (Snow) * Daily Global Radiation (kJ/m**2) (GlobRad) * Monthly Mean Temperature (Tmon) * Monthly Precipitation Sum (RRmon) The datasets spatial resolution is 10 km x 10 km. These datasets are available in GeoTIFF and NetCDF -format. * GeoTIFF. For daily statistics each year has its own file. Single days are described as bands in TIFF file (365 bands). For monthly statistics each month has its own file, each with a single band. GeoTIFF-images may be analyzed and visualized with GIS-software, for example ArcGIS or QGIS. * NetCDF. Daily and monthly statistics both have one file for each year. NetCDF-files may be used with for example Python or R (with raster-package) . This dataset is described in publication: Aalto, J. A., Pirinen, P., Jylhä, K., 2016, New gridded daily climatology of Finland – permutation-based uncertainty estimates and temporal trends in climate, Journal of Geophysical Research : Atmospheres. ISSN: 2169-897X Monthly datasets of 2015-2023 included a small mistake, fixed versions added to Paituli 4.10.2024. Coordinate Reference System: ETRS89 / ETRS-TM35FIN (EPSG:3067)
