Snow load on trees, 1981-2100

Beskrivning

This dataset is a part of FMI’s BioClimFMI gridded datasets produced mainly as a contribution of the Forbio-project. Datasets include several derived climatological variables needed mainly in forestry and agricultural applications. In the Snow load dataset, mean annual maximum snow loads (kg m-2) on trees are estimated for the period 1981–2010 using observational data and for the periods of 2021-2050 and 2071–2100 using climate scenarios under representative concentration pathways (RCPs) 4.5 (moderate emissions) and 8.5 (high emissions). Spatial resolution is 100 m × 100 m. This dataset is available in GeoTIFF-format.
