Estimated galliform routes from years 1963-1988. The estimations contain galliform sightings along the routes. The routes vary from year to year and they are usually located near the most optimal galliform habitat. This material consists of calculated galliform occurrence density, based on yearly sightings. The material has been assembled before the replacing method of triangled gameanimal calculations (riistakolmiolaskenta), which started in the year 1989. Summer of 1988 was a transitional phase and both methods were used, originally as a trial. The triangle sightings and calculations are done twice a year, 1989 being the first year for the winter sequence of smallgame mammal calculations.
