BionGen is built upon innovative concepts at the convergence of material science and synthetic biology and envisions the power of microbial revolution can lead us to a new era of biomaterials engineering and production, i.e, a bioage. Taking inspiration from high-performance biological systems, the project will provide a new class of high-impact resistance and intrinsically tough multiphase nanocomposite for diverse medical and industrial applications such as ultra-thin coating or adhesive/sealant.
