This project will transform methods for the improvement of user security by developing and scientifically evaluating enjoyable security methods. Current methods for the improvement of user security, such as warning messages, are often ineffective and unreliable. Improvement of current security techniques is essential to the field of usable security and maintenance of people's personal information. The project will be conducted at Aalto University with a team of two PIs. We will conduct experimental research with human participants. This project has the potential to transform how people interact with websites, applications, and other platforms that access personal information.
