Implicit Crowdwork via Networked Brain-Computer Interfaces (BRAINSOURCE)

Bidragets beskrivning

Crowdsourcing makes possible for individuals all over the world to collaborate to solve a wide variety of problems, unbounded by time or space. Brainsourcing, developed in this project, is an approach that allows for crowdsourcing of information through the use of brain signals collected from many individuals. In this proposal, it is investigated how implicit neurophysiological data (brain responses) collected from individuals via brain-computer interfacing can be used to support collective tasks; be they recognition tasks, evaluation of information, or creating new information. The project develops novel machine learning approaches and studies them with data collected from neurophysiological recordings. The developed models range from collaborative filtering techniques to computational creativity via generative models that are able to produce novel, unseen information directed by human brain responses.
